Travel Cox’s Bazar If You Are in Bangladesh

If you are thinking that the world’s longest beach is located in the American continent, Europe, or even somewhere in the Philippines or Thailand, think again. Relatively not very popular, yet a major global tourist attraction, the world’s longest uninterrupted and unbroken 120 KM golden sand beach is located at 21°35′ N 92°01′ E, in Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh.

Cox’s Bazar is located in the Chattagone division in Bangladesh. It runs alongside the Bay of Bengle and Myanmar. The city of Cox’s Bazar is a beautiful, small 6.85 square km beach town. However, the district of Cox’s Bazar is 2491.86 square km.

Cox’s Bazar offers pristine sandy beaches with coconut palms and a view of the mountains along with plenty of sunshine and tropical weather – making it an ideal vacation destination for tourists across the globe.

Cox’s Bazar can be easily reached from Dhaka by air, train, or bus. The easiest way to reach it from Dhaka is by air. Daily non-stop flights are available and take about an hour. Bus rides from Dhaka take about 10 hours to reach Cox’s Bazar. Train services are also available, but you have to go to Chattagong from Dhaka, and then will have to take a bus from Chattagong to Cox’s Bazar as there is no direct train to Cox’s Bazar from Dhaka.

There are several tour companies that offer Cox’s Bazar tour packages. To find more information on Cox’s Bazar, search online for these keywords and do your research first before making your decision:

Restaurant Home Food Delivery in Dhaka

Restaurant Home Food Delivery in Dhaka

If you are in cities like Toronto or Berlin, having food delivered at your doorstep 24 hours via online, Smartphone app, fax, or phone is not a problem. However, in many developing Asian cities this may not be possible yet. But one food delivery services is bound to change that in Dhaka.

Foodpanda provides home food delivery services in Dhaka conveniently and hassle-free. Foodpanda covers a wide array of culinary selections and restaurants in Dhaka that you can order via the Foodpanda website, Smartphone app, or a simple phone call.

If you order online, you will be able to see all the restaurants that you can order from in your area. For example, a search for Uttara shows 9 restaurants available. For each restaurant, you will have access to their menus, prices, delivery fees, minimum delivery amount, etc. at a glance. If you want, you can filter your search so you only see restaurants serving what you like, such as Chinese, Middle Eastern, and so on.

Ordering should be a little easier on the Foodpanda Smartphone app, as it picks up your current location and shows restaurants automatically. The Smartphone app also offers many other convenient features, such as the ability to save several addresses and orders so you can easily place them again at a later date.

Once you complete your order, a confirmation email or text message will be sent to your mobile device and your food will be on its way to your home or office. There are delivery fees, but if the restaurants you are ordering from offer free delivery you won’t be changed delivery fees. Even though it’s located in the most densely-populated city on earth with a notorious traffic problem, Foodpanda offers pretty quick delivery from a variety of restaurants right to your doorstep in Dhaka and there will be many more food services like it to follow in the future.

Where to Watch 3D Movies in Dhaka?

Posted By admin on April 15th, 2013

3D Movies in Dhaka3D Movies in Dhaka

A 3D or three dimensional movie uses filming technology in which two individual stereoscopic enhanced images presented to the viewer gives the perception of true depth through specially tinted glasses. 3D movie technology is not going anywhere and is here to stay. In searching for places to enjoy a 3D movie in Dhaka, it looks like there is only one movie theatre that has this facility in Bangladesh.

Star Cineplex, the largest movie theatre in Bangladesh, is located on the eighth floor of the Bashundhara Shopping Complex. Star Cineplex is the only place where you can enjoy a 3D movie in Dhaka. The Amazing Spider-Man was the first 3D movie shown on Dhaka on October 18, 2012.
